BREED: BROWN MACKEREL TABBY
GENDER: MALE
SITUATION: CAUSING HAVOC IN THE NEARBY POULTRY FARM. POSSIBLY FERAL OR AN OLD FARM CAT - DUE TO HIS SIZE AND NOT BEING FED HE IS LOOKING FOR BIGGER PREY.
The drive was about fifteen minutes and Audrey was already getting on edge has she stirred into the driveway of the Poultry Farm. Another call had come in and she had decided to take it on herself, it seemed a large tabby cat had been spotted bugging the chickens and even killing one of the two. The man on the line had sounded very angry and swore if no one came to take the cat away he would shot it with a gun. Audrey had been bewildered out of her mind and hopped into her car right away.
She already had a cat in mind that she wanted to adopted, a blind white cat the most beautiful and friendly dear she had ever seen. Her eyes searched the farms ground and spotted the large tabby cat chasing a squirrel up a tree.
A man opened the farmhouse door and came charging out yelling at Audrey. "That darn cat has killed another one of my chickens! Have it gone by today or I will take care of it myself" Audrey put her hands up " Yes sir, no problem at all. You go inside and I will have the cat out of your hair right away!" With a hmmpt and a nod the farmer turned and went back in the house.
Audrey went to the back of her car and opened the backdoor, pulling out a large trap, it was a no kill trap of course, just a simple steel one that had a piece of meat attacked to it and when pulled the door would shut, but only if the animal was all the way inside.
It took only a few minutes to set up she put it by the chicken pen, hanging a piece of meat on it and ran back towards her car leaning up against it her arms crossed.
The first two times were useless first the farmers dog got caught in it then a skunk decided to have a go but got away safely helping to stink up the place. Audrey yawned stretching her arms it was nearing dark and she was worried she would not catch this massive cat in time.
It seemed though luck was on her side as she watched the tabby creep forward slowly has the sun was just moving down the sky. The cat launched forward and grabbed the meat chowing down hungrily. The door slammed and the cat let out a frightened yowl. "Hey big guy" has Audrey neared the cat began spitting and growling towards her, it arched her back and has she leaned down grab the cage it launched forward scratching her palm. "ouch, well aren't you a feisty boy?"
Happily Audrey loaded the cat into her car and got ready to drive back to S.C.A.R.S, groaning at the thought of more paper work.
