Well, because we can’t adopt ALL the animals ourselves on here once an animal has been rehabilitated they will be removed from the listings and you will get a happy tale at the end of their names. For example:
Roxy – American Pitbull Mix – 2 years old:
STATUS: Vet Checked, Healthy.
TEMP: Very friendly, nervous to begin with but quickly warmed up to the handler. Showed no food aggression or toy guarding. Cannot live with cats but will be fine with another dog. Positive tail wagging and enthusiasm when introduced to TEST CHILD.
ADOPTABILITY: High to Very High.
RESULT: Roxy has been adopted out to a young family in Texas. Very eager to begin her new life we are assured of updates and regular photographs.
- SUCCESS.
An NPC is now in charge of this dog and you have room to take on another.
If you choose to adopt one of the shelter dogs yourself you will have to fill out an adoption form so we know not to give her away.
