DREAMS; Although its one hell of a leap, this boy's never been shy of dreaming, and he always reaches for the stars. After all, how hard can NASA be?
NIGHTMARES; Jett always likes to pull out the thorns he has jabbed in his side, but not all of them come out easily. Jett fears disappointing, and letting down those he loves and holds close. Maybe that's why he loves dogs so much, because they love to please.
CAREER ASPIRATIONS; Ever since he was a little boy, an astronaut was always his main aspiration. A dream that others always laughed at, but hey, when he's waving at the earth from space, lets see who's laughing then.
GUILTY PLEASURE; Easily influenced, seriously, he should have those words spray painted to his forehead. This kid takes everything to heart, and if someone were to offer him drugs or cigarette, he wont say no.
SAVING GRACE; No matter what, Jett never loses sight of his goals, and has never been as determined about something as he is now.
Passion, youth, livelihood, and loyalty all wrapped up in a fun loving package. Jett is a prime example of a young adult. His dreams are as big as his appetite for the world. He wants everything and accepts anything if its wrapped in gold ribbons. However the sun isn't always shining on the brunette as others seem to believe. With college his days tend to be a mess of coffee spills and rushed mornings, struggling with student loans and being away from his family, life isn't always easy, but i suppose that's where the animals come in. His love for animals knows no bounds, and working at the shelter is the only thing that can straighten him out from a busy day balancing school and life.
Jett is friendly, and loves to talk, however most don't find his enthusiasm charming and are quick to write him off as annoying. Not too mention he has a weird sense of humor do to being pranked constantly by his two older brothers as kids. Either way, this boy loves to please, and its a given that by the end of the day with him, you'll be smiling.
Born from a strict spanish father and fun loving hippie mother, they were a pair only Disney could make true. Jett's family immigrated from Spain at the age of 8, and relocated themselves in his mothers homestate, Texas. However life wasn't always handy dandy, Jett was teased and picked on because of his accent and strange name, so he quickly ditched his accent and made a play for top dog in school. He tried out every sport and succeed, being captain for a lot of teams. This earned him the respect he wanted and soon noticed the teasing became praising. Jett was happy in his high school days, living wild and free, dating pretty girls and being a general class clown. It wasn't until his class took a field trip to an aerospace museum that Jett's childhood dreams of being an astronaut came swinging back full force. With the help of some awesome teachers, he learned his high placed dream wasn't that much of a dream, and could become reality if he tried hard enough. Encouraged by enthusiasm and adrenalin, Jett was accepting in a high performance college that specialized in aerospace technology, and was a number one recommended by NASA.
The only thing standing in his way was money, as that usually tends to be what hinders people. However hope was not lost, as he quickly found out about a nearby shelter with some positions open. While Jett was no specialist, animals were his second passion, and he could kill two birds with one stone. On his more free time days at college, he applied for some night time classes and was able to get the job at the shelter.
