SITUATION: SOMEHOW THIS GUY FOUND HIS WAY UNDER A SHED OF AN ELDERLY COUPLE. THEN THE HUSBAND NOTICED A LARGE SNAKE SLITHERING AWAY UNDER HIS SHED HE INSTANTLY CALLED ANIMAL RESCUE.
Shaina was, once again, on a case. And this time, as strange as it sounded, the animal was a snake. Shaina didn't know much about them but she knew well enough to wear elbow high gloves. Shaina kept both gloved hands of the wheel with her eyes staring intently at the road. She wasn't the best driver so when she did drive, she made sure that she didn't further worsen it by having her mind on something else other than what was in front of her. But as she neared the house that held the snake, the more worried she became. She had never even held a snake, let alone try to catch one. The girl sighed before putting her mind of the road again.
The car slowed down as Shaina saw the house. It was rather large and she saw the couple quickly, sitting on the lawn, both staring at the shed. Parking near the house, she got out and walked to the trunk to get the cage that she would put the snake in. Snakes were not a type of animal that someone in Glenpark would rescue everyday and one certainly wouldn't be learning how to catch a snake in training. Taking a deep breath, she started towards the house.
She gave a polite smile to the elderly couple. Hi. I'm here to get the snake. The man quickly stood up and his wife stood on the lawn, still facing the shed. Hello. It's over here. I found it yesterday when I was mowing the lawn. Shaina nodded before moving towards the shed. Kneeling down, she looked under the shed to find a python slithering around the bottom. The shed bottom was a small space and she shuddered at the mere sight of it. Though many people didn't know, she was claustrophobic but Shaina knew that she had to put that aside to save this snake.
Bringing her head up, she checked to make sure her gloves were put on properly. Using a pole, she put it under the shed to try to drag the snake out. After a few tries, Shaina finally got a hold of the snake and brought it out. She instinctively reach for it's head and shoved it in the cage. Standing up, glad to be in a much larger space of the elderly couple lawn, she smiled at the couple. Well this snake won't bother you anymore. Thank you for calling St. Cairo. Walking away with the cage in hand, she put it in her trunk and got in the car. Waving politely at the man and the women, she left, thinking what SCARS would do with a snake.
