SITUATION: DAUGHTER'S 'INHERITED' CAT FROM HER MOTHER. DUE TO 'FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES' THEY WANT THE CAT GONE BY THE END OF THE WEEK OR HE WILL BE IMPOUNDED.
Audrey pulled her hair into a pony tail, it was late and she had just finished at a farm collecting a male tabby cat. She yawned twice, jumping into her yellow car. There had been another phone call well she was out a message had been left about a cat that needed to go or he would be sent to the pound.
The drive was easily over an hour and she thought she would fall asleep well driving and get in a car accident but she didn't thank gosh. She parked her car on the side of the rode looking both ways though it was hard to see through the dark.
She climbed the stairs that lead to the front door and stood stood for a moment rubbing her eyes. She knocked softly a few times and it did not take long for a woman to answer the door " Hello I am Audrey, manger of the S.C.A.R.S animal shelter and I have recived and call about a cat?"
Oh, thank-you Audrey for coming hold on a minute and I will get Leo for you." The woman went back into her house and came back a minute later holding a slender black and white cat with a very long tail.
Audrey smiled and petted the top of his head "Wow he sure is a beauty. The woman smiled saddly " he's been a loyal and loving companion for my mother for years before her passing, please take care of him?" Audrey reached for the kennel she had place beside him " I not thank of doing anything else for him, come a long Leo" She reached over and gently grabbed the cat who meow in distress a few times and struggled to get away but otherwise was easy to put in the cage. Oh hold on don't want to forget his special blanket and bed-wait right here!
Audrey could not help but smile when the lady came back with a small square blanket that looked like it had had better days and a dark blue basket with black poke dots, Audrey nodded taking the items from the lady.
Audrey placed the kennel gentlely on the back sit and stuck her finger through the bars reciving a lick from Leo and a friendly purr, he seemed to liek Audrey and the feelings were mutral has she jumped into the car and began her journy back.
