As the sun came up over the trees, Belle slipped her coat on. She opened the door that led to the flat that the kennels were on. As she walked over the frozen ground she heard the loud barking and whining of the couple dogs that were in Justice Ranch's care. She went to the cage of siberian husky female. She jumped up on the wired cage. "Good girl Hanna". Belle grabbed the leash that hung on a knob, an entered the cage. She clipped it onto Hanna's collar.

Seekress walked along pencil in hr hand, also a clipboard. She had her blond locks tied up in a bun. She looked at each of the kennels checking off the conditions for each. When she reached one she put the eraser in her mouth thinking. Being head vet was hard work, but it really paid off. Her black wedges smacked against the ground softly, not spooking any of the dogs. Her eyes scanned the kennel for a second then checked another box off on her list. She kept moving done, and saw one dog with a bit of a limp. She grabbed a muzzle and leash then walked slowly in. "C'mere girl." Seekress coaxed. The dog whined and crawled up to her. She gently reached for her paw and saw a thorn in it. Whoever had walked her earlier wasn't thinking. She sighed, working the thorn out softly. When it finally came out, the dog jumped back and yelped. "Now that that is done." Seekress said depositing the thorn into her pocket, taking out the leash and muzzle, hanging them up. She smiled softly at the young girl, and then turned back to her work. Seekress kept walking until she heard someone talking. She recognized it was the ranch manager taking out a young husky. She stopped and turned to her, her face light, but her eyes cold, thinking of how had walked the poor dog. She then smiled. "Hello Belle. Hanna. Taking her out for a walk? Hmm, yes look out for those thorns. One dog just had one. Nastily big too." Seekress said softly. She turned and pointed to the dog a couple kennels down.
