As of now, there will be no strict rules made I only ask you that you use your common sense and follow the proboards TOS until further notice. If anyone would like to highlight some rules that need put in place, I will add them to the list :3
- No Stealing, Fighting or being a... set of genitals.
- Literacy at all times. 200 word minimum.
- Report to staff if you find anything inappropriate.
- Wait for profiles to be accepted.
- Please read all the information and have a look around before joining. It’s fine to ask question on the c-box when I’m on but when I’m not the members may not be able to answer.
- I’m putting the word limit at 200 minimum. This gives you a proper ‘feel’ of the writing and is a lot more expressive.
- Please make sure that you keen all your characters active – there is no character limit but if things get out of hand I will have to do something about it.
- Once the staff positions are filled – they are filled. If I need more staff then I will audition for them.
- The managers of the shelters must post at least 3 times a week to be considered ‘active’. This will be within the boards, even if it is just in the paperwork board.
- You may get married, have babies, take drugs, drink etc. but don’t go into detail.
- There are some cases on this board that may make you think ‘why would you even write that?’ the sad thing is, most of the situations I’ve written in the rescues are from various other rescue efforts I hear about and is the sad reality which we live in.
- If you want to rescue a dog in the adoption board you will have to make a separate threat in the ‘Rescue List’ board with your sample of the rescue. Not everyone rescues on their first time and if you’ve ever watched ‘animal cops’ – about one out of three animals captured comes happily.
- If a shelter already has a manager you may not ask for her/his position if they are active but if they are inactive for a week you may ‘bid’ on the shelter.
- You may plan an animal in a separate account.
k) You as a character can adopt up to 4 ANIMALS AN IRL WEEK. Give the other players a chance :3
- Animals who have been rescued will be added to the waiting list of that kennel and after a week they will be put up for adoption.
- It is the Shelter’s responsibility to open up an account under ‘Paperwork’ where the fund will be added/taken away. You will NOT receive funding if you do not have an account and all funds from the shelter will be taken from the manager’s account.
- Please at least change your font size to size 1 when posting and add a blockquote or two to keep things tidy - to those who don't know what a bloackquote is, just highlight your post then click the little arrow icon next to the 'Tube' icon on your 'add tags' bit above the smiley. Same goes for the font size but it's the icon that looks like a little A next to a big A.
I WILL CHANGE/UPDATE THE RULES AS I SEE FIT.
