It has been almost two centuries since the DARKHORSE project experiments. The world is not the same nor will it ever be like it used to be. The experiment was herald as a break through, the next step in immortality. But they were wrong. It was their arrogance that caused our destruction. It was their blasphemous desire to live forever that doomed us. Now a world with over eight billion lives has been reduced to two million living... the rest? The living dead.
Now, the living are hunted for food.
Now, we just try to survive the day.
Now, we rebuild our broken world.

DARKHORSE is a post-apocalyptic human/zombie game set a hundred years in the future. There is barely any working technology and no cars or civilization. Humans live in stronghold settlements built from old parts and building that allows them to have a safe place to live and flourish. They have become close groups and communes so that each person does their part to keep the collective alive and feed. Everyone must pull their resources for the good of humankind alike.
